Our cables meet CPR standards

Braiding at 80% - we recommend

Braiding at 30% - we do not recommend

Among the most popular cables, we can distinguish between shielding:

• Duoshield (Standard) – two layers: FOIL + BRAID

• Trishield – three layers: FOIL + BRAID + FOIL

• Electromagnetic tightness – we distinguish several classes of electromagnetic tightness. High-quality cables have classes A, A+, A++. The higher the class, the greater the tightness of the cable and automatically less susceptibility to electromagnetic interference.

• Braid density – the braid is another barrier protecting our signal from the external environment. The higher the braid density, the more effective the shielding, especially when shielding low frequencies.

At present, the braid should necessarily have a minimum of 77% optical coverage. Such shielding provides adequate protection and is also required for cables used in multi-family buildings.

• Screen – foil wrapped around the dielectric. It is responsible for isolating the core (main vein) from electromagnetic waves that cause interference. The screen also acts as an insulator stopping the signal. Without this element, the signal would be completely degraded. The foil is responsible for effective high-frequency shielding.

High-quality cables have foil glued to the dielectric to avoid situations where the foil will leak during cable installation, exposing the dielectric and, as a result, a section of cable without insulation will be created, which will result in the penetration of signals from the outside and the degradation of our signal.

What you need to know about coaxial cable

Elpio coaxial cables are high-quality coaxial conductors designed for a wide range of applications. Their well-thought-out construction makes them versatile antenna cables, suitable for both bidirectional cable TV networks and individual digital satellite or terrestrial television systems.

The cables are highly resistant to the penetration of unwanted electromagnetic waves, while their radiation emissions are minimized. This is achieved through a three-layer shielding, which plays a crucial role in the era of digital transmissions.
